Die Aktienmärkte eröffneten diese Woche schwächer, legten jedoch leicht zu, als der Rohölpreis nachgab. Nach der Wiederaufnahme der Öllieferungen durch die Straße von Hormus fiel der Preis für WTI-Rohöl unter 70 US-Dollar pro Barrel und gab damit seine während des Konflikts erzielten Gewinne wieder ab. Gold, Silber und Bitcoin schlossen alle im Minus. Gold lag unter 4.000 US-Dollar pro Unze, Silber unter 60 US-Dollar pro Unze. Der Dollar-Index gab leicht nach, nachdem er zuvor durch die Aussicht auf mögliche Zinserhöhungen auf ein Siebenmonatshoch gestiegen war.

Equity markets opened lower this week but recovered modestly yesterday, supported by a decline in crude oil prices. Following the resumption of oil flows through the Strait of Hormuz, WTI crude prices fell below US$70 per barrel, reversing all of the gains recorded during the recent conflict. Gold, silver, and Bitcoin all closed lower. Gold fell below US$4,000 per ounce, while silver declined below US$60 per ounce. The Dollar Index slipped slightly after reaching a seven-month high, driven by expectations that interest rates could rise further.
